Amazing cupcakes, coffee, and service!! The cupcakes had a ton of flavor and there was enough variety for everyone. The cafe con leche was the perfect mix of espresso and sugar. The best part was the service!

Only had the cupcakes here and I have to say they were amazing! Usually cupcakes can come out quite dry, especially from these national chains like Gigi's or Georgetown, etc., and even though they might taste good you need a glass of milk with them. At Royal Treatz this was not the case. Packed with flavor and so moist, these are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had! Such friendly service as well makes you feel like you're walking into a Cuban household. I had the guava and cheese cupcake which was amazing and satisfied my craving for a pastelito.

This place is adorable, chick and delicious cupcakes. My favorite one was guava and cheese, red velvet, and pistachio.
The lady is very nice and friendly, she accommodated our group of 5 for a cupcake and coffee time. We had a nice time there.

The employees at this cupcake shop are really nice! Unfortunately the cupcakes are not. The cakes themselves taste like they were made from a box recipe and there is no uniformity to their texture (done-ness). The inside of two cupcakes were still batter-y and the edges of another were a step away from crunchy. The icing is not buttercream but is whipped - which that alone is not an issue, lots of people prefer the lightness. But this wasn't homemade. This was cool-whip straight out of the tub. I was extremely disappointed with the cupcakes and I didn't finish a single one of the four that I bought.
Lemon - not much lemon flavor, icing tasted like zest and was bitter, it did not taste much like lemon.
The chocolate was dry and overcooked. It did not actually taste much of chocolate. The icing on this one however, had a nice cocoa flavor which was surprising compared to how poor the rest of them were.
The S'mores one did not taste of S'mores, but had some weird alcohol-y taste. The inside was undercooked and had the consistency of a wet cake donut. I think it was the worst of the bunch.
Cookies and cream did not taste like much of anything, it was completely forgettable. It did not strike me as tasting of cookies or cream.
All in all, I am very disappointed in my experience at this little bakery. I really like supporting local business but with the product like this I don't see how I can support this one. -

The end product was wonderful. A great experience all around. I checked in a few times to make sure they had all of the photos and descriptions I sent. The cake was ready and waiting as we agreed - and it was a big hit. Well done and delicious.
High marks all around!
